Chip tuning is the process of recalibrating the factory software in your engine control unit (ECU) to match the true capacity of the engine and its hardware. Manufacturers ship software with a wide safety margin to cover different climates, variable fuel quality and emissions regulations. Hidden inside that margin is a serious, unused reserve of power and torque. We release that reserve without ever pushing the engine beyond its mechanical limits.
How Does Chip Tuning Work?
We read the original software from your ECU and carefully optimize the fuel maps, ignition timing, boost pressure and torque limits. Every change is data-driven: air-fuel ratio, exhaust gas temperature and knock values are monitored throughout. The goal isn’t just more horsepower — it’s a fuller, more enjoyable and more efficient driving character in everyday use.
Stage 1 Performance Software
A safe power increase made entirely within the manufacturer’s limits, without touching the engine’s mechanics. It optimizes fuel consumption while delivering a noticeable rise in horsepower and torque.
Stage 2 Performance Software
Software specially optimized for cars with basic mechanical upgrades such as an air filter, intercooler or exhaust (downpipe). It lets you extract maximum benefit from those hardware changes.
Stage 3 Performance Software (Custom Projects)
Boundary-pushing, high-performance software prepared entirely bespoke for cars with an upgraded turbo, reinforced internal engine components and custom fuel systems.
Safe Reading and Backup
Before any work, we make a complete backup of your vehicle’s original software, so returning to factory settings is possible at any time. For control units that can’t be reached over OBD we use BootMode and bench methods, performing the operation in a controlled environment without electrical risk.
