Once you increase your engine’s power, it’s the transmission that has to put that new torque onto the road. Factory transmission software (TCU) usually follows a cautious strategy focused on comfort and durability. With transmission tuning we rework that strategy, balancing performance, driving pleasure and the increased torque.
What Do We Optimize?
We recalibrate shift speed and firmness, clutch clamping pressure, torque limits and kick-down response. On DSG/DCT gearboxes, launch control activation, holding gears at higher RPM and smoother transitions become possible. That way all the power you gain from the engine reaches the ground without clutch slip.
